The aggressive downturn is supported by Evolv’s Phantom technology, made up of the AVT midsole, which is thicker in the forefoot and thinner around your toes to provide sensitivity without reducing power, and the TPS+ midsole, which keeps the shoe’s downturned shape—even after it’s fully broken in. Evolv used stretchy neoprene to allow the knuckle box to stretch and rebound back to its original shape to prevent toe pain and maintain the Phantom’s precise profile, while the heel midsole and thinner heel rubber give you the perfect blend of sensitivity and rigidity for technical heel hooks.
